What you can’t see, won’t hurt you right? Not when it comes to radon levels in your home.

Radon is a colorless, odorless and tasteless radioactive gas that is formed by the decay of uranium in rock, soil and water. Trace amount of radon is naturally in our air, but disperses and is generally not a health risk. However, the problem may be inside your home. Radon can enter the home through cracks and holes within the foundation, and become trapped. Breathing in radon overtime is harmful as radon is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer in the US; and in the state of Maryland, it is a hot spot.
