WE ARE EXTREMELY THOROUGH AND PROFESSIONAL HOME INSPECTORS WHO WORK HARD FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. GOTSCH INSPECTIONS, LLC OFFERS INSPECTIONS THAT WILL KEEP YOUR HOME SAFE AND DETECT POTENTIAL ISSUES BEFORE THEY BECOME FULL-BLOWN PROBLEMS.
What you can’t see, won’t hurt you right? Not when it comes to radon levels in your home.
Radon is a colorless, odorless and tasteless radioactive gas that is formed by the decay of uranium in rock, soil and water. Trace amount of radon is naturally in our air, but disperses and is generally not a health risk. However, the problem may be inside your home. Radon can enter the home through cracks and holes within the foundation, and become trapped. Breathing in radon overtime is harmful as radon is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer in the US; and in the state of Maryland, it is a hot spot.
Testing is the only way to be sure of your homes radon levels. To protect yourself and your family, hire Gotsch Inspection to perform this quick and easy test. We will leave a radon canister in the lowest, livable area of your home for at least 48 hours. Once we retrieve it, we will review the results and email you the report the same day.
If high radon levels are reported in your home, a Certified Radon Service Professional should be contacted for mitigation.
